Having recently stayed at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel South Bend, I was pleased with the lovely staff at the Bakery restaurant and the pleasant check-in experience. the clean bed linen and excellent location near great restaurants were definite highlights. However, the closure of the hot tub was a disappointment and may influence future stays in South Bend. the property felt somewhat mediocre with outdated room features and overcharged rates. On a positive note, the room was clean and offered a good view. the hotel's connection to the Century Center and Studebaker themed decor added a unique touch to the experience.
